Registering Teams: FAQ
Registering your teams in a club league
How to register your teams in a club sports league website powered by Crossbar.
Gaining Access
Registration in a youth league website powered by Crossbar requires being invited as a club administer by a representative of the league. If you have not received that invitation, please contact your league before attempting to register.
Accepting Invitation
Once you receive your invitation, simply click on the link in the league. If you already have a Crossbar account with another organization, log in with your existing account. If not, create and verify a new account. Once you log in, accept the invitation.
Registering Your Teams
- Log into your league website.
- Click Account at the top of the page.
- Click on Teams
- Click on Register
- Select the appropriate league. If there are not any leagues listed, then registration for the league is not open or your club is not eligible for the leagues with the open registration. Contact your league for assistance.
- Select the appropriate division.
- If your club's website is powered by Crossbar, at this time you will be presented with a list of your active teams. Selecting a team here will sync team staff and league games between your league and club websites. If a team is missing, return to your club's website and add the team. Once completed, return to the league website and refresh the page. If the team is already created but still is not showing, make sure that the season's end date is set correctly.
- Enter your team details. Make sure the team display name you enter follows the league's naming standards. For non-Crossbar clubs you can enter Coach and Team Manager information here if determined. If not, it can be added later.
- Continue through the registration process. Once completed, click Register Another Team to add your next team. Repeat these steps until all of your teams are registered.

Honor The Game Pins
We have made another order of Honor the Game pins for the upcoming season. You will need to have one representative pick these up at the January meeting. PLEASE make sure these are given to your coaches before games begin. In addition, check your inventory!! Ball bags, bins of equipment, etc… If you have any existing from the previous season, they are the same each year and we don’t want them wasted.
For more information on Honor the Game, read up here: Washington State Girls Lacrosse | Honor The Game
Youth Registration
Youth registration is open (early 😉). Please make sure whoever is registering the team has ACCEPTED their club invite. If they have not, there will be an “access denied” message when attempting to register. It will close on January 27th. By January 27th, you need to send your completed (to the best of your ability) schedule form to Allison (scheduler@wslax.org).
Information for the youth season is posted here (including the schedule form): Washington State Girls Lacrosse | Washington Youth Lacrosse
Jamboree
Jamboree Registration will open at 9am on Sunday, February 1st.
The purpose of the jamborees is to get the referees rated for the upcoming season. This is their first on field training after the classroom training. Please be patient and kind to them. It is also a great opportunity for your teams to get some game time in before the first official game of the season. Please remember to leave the fields better than you found them so we are able to continue to return in future seasons.
HIGH SCHOOL
The High School Jamboree will be held on Saturday, March 7th and Sunday, March 8th (you only play one of the two days). We will be accepting registrations for 30 teams. It is a $300 registration fee. We do offer a $50 discount for hosts. We are willing to take two hosts at the locations with two fields (i.e. Meadowdale & Marymoor). Host teams are responsible for providing all equipment for the scorer/timer table, cones, ball, etc.
Registration is first come, first serve & usually fills up within 24 hours (last year it filled up within TWO HOURS!!). It is not guaranteed that you will get your preferred date or location but we will do our best. Teams playing will assist in scoring and timing so make sure you have some volunteer parents that can attend. It is a great opportunity for your scorers/timers can get some practice before games start!
Saturday, March 8th: Meadowdale [Fields 1&2] & Sumner Middle School [1 field]
Sunday, March 9th: Lakeside [HS field] & Marymoor [fields 1&4]
YOUTH
The youth jamboree will be held on Saturday, March 14th and Sunday, March 15th (you only play one of the two days). We are looking for 12U and 14U teams to participate. Registration is free and we encourage EVERY team to participate. It is critical that we have as many games as possible for these referees. If you feel that you CANNOT field a team for the jamboree, please let me know as we could always combine teams together or make “free agent” teams.
It is not guaranteed that you will get your preferred date or location but we will do our best. Hosts will get first priority for location/day.
Locations are as follows:
Saturday, March 14th: Sumner Middle School/Sumner HS [2 fields] & Mercer Island [2 fields]
Sunday, March 15th: Marymoor [Field 1&4] & Meadowdale [Field 1 & 2]
Hosting entails: providing all things required to time and score a game (table, chairs, score board, and clocks). I will gladly take TWO hosts at each of the locations to make it easier on the hosting team.
