Anacortes Lacrosse Club is seeking passionate and qualified individuals to fill the following positions:

January – May 2025
Qualifications:
Candidates should have played or coached lacrosse, preferably at the high school or collegiate level.
Job Specific Qualifications:
- Must have a strong working knowledge of USA lacrosse high school rules and WSLA league regulations.
- Works cooperatively with the club coaching group to outline seasonal goals
- Ability to organize and direct individual and small group player development sessions.
- Ability to run practices
- Silver USA Lacrosse Coaching certification for Head Varsity Coach.
- Bronze USA Lacrosse Coaching certification for Assistant and 10U.
- Current CPR and AED certification
- Complete background check
- The capacity to establish a good rapport and working relationship with student-athletes, parents, coaches, and the community is required.
- Ability to inspire athletes and be a positive coaching influence 5 nights a week under various weather conditions.

Bellevue Wolverines Girls Lacrosse
We are seeking to fill three positions at the High School and 7/8 Grade levels for the spring 2025 season. BWGL hires coaches that share a philosophy that lacrosse is a place for developing players with a range of abilities and for teaching values that benefit players throughout life. Open Positions: Varsity Head Coach, JV Head Coach, Grade 7/8 Head Coach
For High School positions, a successful candidate brings prior coaching experience at the junior high, high school or college levels. For our 7/8 team, a successful candidate will have prior coaching experience or collegiate level playing experience. All coaching candidates will be great collaborators and communicators who motivate those around them and demonstrate an ability to develop skill and understanding of the game of lacrosse. Coaches will comply with all laws and certification requirements. High School coaches will conduct team tryouts, lead M-Fr practices and act as a game day coach. 7/8 coaches will lead practices 2-3 times a week and act as game day coaches. Competitive pay and supplemental paid off-field assignments are available.
Eastside Catholic Girls JV Lacrosse Coach
Eastside Catholic High School, a WSLA member of the Independent conference, is accepting applications for a Girl's Junior Varsity Lacrosse Coach reporting to the Girls Varsity Head Lacrosse Coach and the Athletic Director.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a positive coaching style and a strong vision for developing our growing program. We offer competitive pay, comparable to coaches with similar experience in our area.
Desired Professional Qualifications:
- Previous lacrosse coaching experience preferred
- Mature, responsible and self-motivated individual with a positive coaching style
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of the game
- Ability to work effectively with the girls lacrosse coaching staff, Athletic Department and other support staff
Responsibilities:
- Attend all high school games and practices
- Develop and implement consistent practice plans
- Ensure all players learn all aspects of the game and have opportunities to develop these skills in practice and games
- Provide an atmosphere conducive to good sportsmanship; compile and maintain accurate individual and team performance records; participate in the awards program(s) according to school procedure.
- Communicate important information (team news, practice changes, game changes, etc.) in a timely manner to players and parents
- Manage game-day operations
- Attend WSLA meetings as required
- Establish seasonal and long-range goals for the program
- Model behavior that exemplifies our Core Covenants (True Competitor, Integrity, Accountability and Family)
- Implement team activities to promote our Core Covenants
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with players, parents, and the Athletic Department on program development, scheduling, player discipline, and program policies
- Manage distribution, collection and inventory of uniform/equipment
- Support all fundraising efforts
- Other duties as may be assigned by the head varsity coach or Athletic Director

Nathan Hale and Ingraham High Schools are running a combined high school program and looking for energetic, motivational coaches who are organized and can create a positive presence at lacrosse practice and games. If you have the following desired qualifications that’s fantastic! And these are not requirements. As we’re all learning in life, if you have the passion for coaching high school girls, let’s chat!
Desired Qualifications:
• Passionate about youth development on and off the field
• Desire to be part of a coaching collaboration
• Knowledge of WSLA rules and regulations
• Extensive knowledge of the principles of individual and team fundamentals of LA
• Ability to develop and train student-athletes
• Personal skills that reflect positive relations with high school student-athletes, coaches, parents and the community
• Ability to organize and prepare practice schedules
• Ability to develop a solid discipline that emphasizes teamwork and good sportsmanship
• Availability for practice Monday-Friday after school and/or in the evenings
• Club coaching and/or collegiate playing experience
Qualifications: Required for All Coaches
• High school diploma or equivalent
• WSLA Level 1 certification - training is available in January & paid for by the club
• First Aid/CPR/AED trained and certified from either Red Cross or American Heart Association – training paid for by the club
• Have successfully completed Concussion recognition and management with Return to Play Protocols training as required by Washington State Law
• District required Criminal Justice Fingerprint and Background Clearance and SPS Adult Sexual Misconduct Prevention Training

Overlake High School Head Coach
Overlake School is seeking a great role model Lacrosse Head Coach for the 2025 season.
One of the most established programs in the state, Overlake started the program in 1990 and continues to build an outstanding environment for coaching. As a school varsity program – not a club – coaches are supported in the following ways:
- Daily practices on campus in a brand-new turf stadium
- Access to a Full Time Athletic Trainer to minimize risk and help with return to play
- Full time department staff members to coordinate scheduling, transportation, and uniforms
- A dedicated game operations staff for hosting home games
- A full-time strength and conditioning coach to help develop your athletes
- A ‘built-in’ 5th through 8th grade feeder program for skill development

Tahoma Lacrosse Club - Head Varsity Coach & Assistant Varsity Coach
Founded in 1999, the Tahoma Lacrosse Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to organizing,
developing and promoting the sport of lacrosse within the Maple Valley and surrounding community.
Tahoma Lacrosse Club has the following Lacrosse coaching positions open for the Fall and Spring
2024-2025 seasons:
• Head Varsity Coach
• Assistant Varsity Coach
Lacrosse Coaches will report to the Tahoma Lacrosse Club high school girl’s coordinator. Specific
responsibilities and requirements will include:
o Compliance with all Tahoma Lacrosse Club, WSLA, WWLOA and USA Lacrosse
policies and procedures.
o Supervision and instruction of lacrosse student-athletes during all team activities.
o Effective communication with student-athletes, their parents, and all board
members and coaches.
o Demonstrated knowledge, dedication, experience, and ability to teach lacrosse
skills and conditioning programs.
o Ability to teach student athletes sportsmanship, responsibility, discipline,
teamwork, commitment, pride, and fun.
o Ability to collaborate with all other members of the coaching staff, both boys and
girls high and youth.
o Ability and willingness to work, and collaborate with, all girl’s youth teams.
o Ability and willingness to help grow the girl’s program, both youth and high
school.
o Be available for practices and competitions during their coaching season with
availability on weekends as required for practices or competitions.
o Possess a valid Washington State driver’s license.
o USA Lacrosse Level 1 Coaching certificate.
o Concussion and CPR training.
o Current USA Lacrosse Membership (prior to the start of the season).
