HS State Championship & Rainier Cup

WSLA expects all Varsity teams that are eligible for Post Season Play will play in any game for which is it eligible.

i. At the sole discretion of the Board, refusal or forfeiture by a Team to play a Post Season Play Off game may result in consequences for the Team. These consequences may include the removal of the team from Varsity play for the following year(s).

State Championship bracket is comprised of the top 16 teams and/or conference winners*. First round is May 4th and 5th with the higher seed hosting, second round is May 7th and 8th with the higher seed hosting, semi-finals are at Starfire on May 12th (5:30pm & 7:30pm), and the Championship game is at Starfire on May 15th (7:30pm).

*Conference winners below the 16th seed can choose to participate in the state tournament or Rainier Cup.

Rainier Cup is comprised of teams 17-24 in the power rankings. This year, the tournament will take place on Saturday, May 9th at Glacier Peak HS and Sunday, May 10th at Lakeside High School. Below is the schedule.
