Program Petitions
To petition to add a new program, please review the handbook under: New Programs and New Teams. Deadline to submit for HS is October 1st and for Youth is January 1st.
Player Waivers
A player that has been cut from a program may request a waiver to participate with another program. Waivers for other reasons are only granted for extraordinary circumstances. The request must be submitted by the player and parents –all sections must be complete and any supplemental information must be received by WSLA no later than January 30. (Email to ED MK Benshoof at admin@wslax.org .)
Conduct Feedback
Coaches, players, spectators, and WWLOA officials may comment on the performance and behavior of a coach, player, spectator or umpire, by submitting a Conduct Feedback Form. The Conduct Feedback Form may be used to report incidents of concern as well as observations of exemplary positive behavior.
Conduct Feedback Forms shall be submitted within 7 days of the when the incident or observation occurred. Conduct Feedback forms shall be submitted to the Executive Director. (Email to MK Benshoof at admin@wslax.org)
2026 Season
USA Lacrosse hosts regional conventions and they are returning to Denver this December. WSLA would like to help offset some of those fees for coaches. Please apply at the link below and we will be giving no less than $300* to selected applicants. Proof of attendance will be required before grant is sent. The last day to apply will be November 2, 2025.
*The grant will be no less than $300 but final amount will depend on number of applications.

Please fill out this form before October 15th with any questions you may have for the league meeting OR the program leader presentation. The goal of this is to tackle as many questions during the presentation as possible to make the best use of everyone’s time.
Out of Season Reminders

Allowed | Coaches may coach their teams and conduct team activities, and teams may practice and participate in games | Coaches may conduct lacrosse activities on their own, as individuals, or as part of a lacrosse program. Coaches may conduct lacrosse activities with players from their In-Season team and with players from other teams and programs. | Coaches may coach players that participate on teams that do not feed directly to the In-Season team they coach. High School coaches, may coach, conduct practices or instructional clinics for youth players that feed directly into the In-Season team they coach as long as all out of season opportunities are concluded no later than MLK Holiday of any given year.coaches, paid or volunteer, may coach or conduct practices or conduct instructional clinics for present In-Season team members ONLY under the following conditions: 1. Any Out of Season team, skill clinic or other lacrosse opportunity is open to all players in WSLA and is published on the WSLA website; 2.
