2026 Coaches

Amanda has over 20 years of lacrosse playing experience, beginning with Snohomish Lacrosse throughout her youth and high school career, where she also earned a spot on Team Washington. She continued her lacrosse career at Western Washington University, competing at the Club Division 1 level. During her junior and senior years, she held leadership positions as the Team President and served as a Team Captain/Coach for a self-coached team. Amanda was named Attack MVP of the NWWLL League twice while at Western, and in her senior year, she helped lead the team to the WCLA National Tournament for the first time in club history.

From Snohomish, Chelsea started playing lacrosse over 20 years ago. In high school, she played with Puget Sound Select and earned a spot on Team Washington. She played Division I Club Lacrosse at Western Washington University, where she served as a captain and coach her senior year, and helped lead the team to its first league championship. Chelsea played women’s lacrosse for Breakaway until last spring, stepping away as she welcomed her first baby, Sylvie, in October 2025.

Amanda and Chelsea began coaching in 2014 and have been coaching within WSLA since 2018. They joined the 253 Lacrosse coaching staff in 2022. In 2023, they began coaching at Northshore Lacrosse for their inaugural Varsity season, leading the team to a Rainier Cup Championship in 2024 and a North Sound Conference title and semifinal appearance in 2025. That same season, they were named WSLA Coaches of the Year.

Amanda is passionate about building a positive and supportive team culture while helping athletes embrace challenges, work together, and grow as players and leaders on and off the field. She is honored to coach for Team Washington and represent the sport of lacrosse in our state.

Chelsea values teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship while supporting athletes’ growth both on and off the field. She is passionate about growing the game in Washington and is proud to represent Team Washington as they compete in New York!

Coach Megan -

A Lake Tapps native, Megan grew up playing for the Lake Tapps Lacrosse Club. During her high school career, Megan earned herself a spot on Team Washington. She was recruited to play in college at the Division 2 level but had to make the tough decision to step away from playing, putting her health first. With a passion for developing athletes and growing the game, Megan began coaching in 2018 with CitySide Lacrosse Club.

In 2020, Megan joined Seattle Academy as the varsity assistant coach and became the head coach in 2021. Under their leadership, Seattle Academy has made multiple Final Four appearances, culminating in a state championship victory in 2023. That same year, Megan was honored as the WSLA Coach of the Year.

Currently, Megan continues to coach at Seattle Academy (and teaches there!) while also serving as a coach for Arc Lacrosse Club. Her commitment to player development and competitive success has made her a respected figure in the Washington lacrosse community.

Coach Hilary -

Originally from Rochester, NY, Hilary played collegiate lacrosse at Northwestern University from 2005 to 2009, contributing to the program’s continued success at the national level. After her playing career, she transitioned into coaching, joining the University of Southern California staff from 2011 to 2014.

Hilary moved to Seattle and began coaching locally, working with Roosevelt High School from 2015 to 2017 and CitySide Lax from 2016 to 2020. In 2017, she joined Seattle Academy, where she continues to coach, helping to develop student-athletes and grow the game in the Pacific Northwest. She is wrapping up her maternity leave so is not coaching this current season at Seattle Academy.

With a wealth of playing and coaching experience at the collegiate and high school levels, Hilary is passionate about mentoring young athletes and fostering a competitive and supportive team culture.
