To coordinate and facilitate all activities related to schoolgirls lacrosse in Washington; to promote and facilitate a safe environment for girls to play lacrosse at the high school and youth level; to promote the growth of the sport; and to honor the game by instilling the values of scholastic achievement, sportsmanship, teamwork and individual development.
About the Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association
The Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association (WSLA) is the governing body for girls high school lacrosse as well as girls youth lacrosse in the State of Washington. Consisting of girls high school lacrosse teams representing student-athletes attending WIAA-member schools throughout eastern and western Washington, in addition to school and club youth teams, the WSLA organizes, develops and promotes girls high school and youth lacrosse by facilitating a safe environment to play lacrosse, promoting the growth of the sport and honoring the game by instilling values of scholastic achievement, sportsmanship, teamwork and individual development among student-athletes, educators, coaches and families involved in the sport.
